We may be taking a break next week, but we are falling into a very busy October here at I A Lewis! We will be wrapping up the 1st nine-week grading period this month, as well as celebrating Bullying Prevention Week and Red Ribbon Week. Report cards will be issued at the end of this month--just in time for Halloween! Paper copies of the calendar are being sent home with students today. Tomorrow is the deadline to register for the Elite Clinic hosted by the Ruston High Bearcat Belles! Cost is $65 and participants will be invited to perfrom with the Belles during the Nevillle game on Friday, October 18. The clinic will be held on Saturday, October 12 at Ruston High School. This morning members of the I A Lewis Fellowship of Christian Athletes, led by Coaches Pate and Pittman, participated in See You At The Pole--a global day of unity and prayer. This event is held each year on the fourth Wednesday in September. Students, teachers, and community members gathered around the flag pole at 7:00 a.m. to pray for our school, community, state, and nation. #IALRAMS
Good afternoon, Rams! We are halfway through the First Nine Weeks. Each student received a Detailed Progress Report today. Please ask your student abt this so you can stay informed abt grades.
2nd-8th Hr PE classes brought home letters on Friday inviting them to participate in Teach 1 to Lead 1 Mentoring Program this year. Please ask them about this. Good afternoon Rams, most students received Chromebooks and chargers on Friday afternoon. Please make sure they charge them this evening and bring their Chromebook to school tomorrow using the front binder pocket to store it. If your student has turned in a CB Contract already and DID NOT receive a CB Friday, please tell them to report to the library upon arrival to school so we can get one checked out to them.
